Fieldy: “I met Brian last week. He was in town for a show and I decided to come by. After the concert I sneaked in to the tour buss and we hung out for a while. He told me he was free the next morning and we decided to take our kids to the beach and chill out. And that’s what we did. Then we cycled for a ride along the beach and stopped at a lunch restaurant. Possible that he returns to the band? In that we haven’t replaced him it is obvious that that the possibility exists. It’s just that everything must be right, like that he wants to come back himself and that the timing is right and so on. If it happens it’s fantastic, if it doesn’t it’s still fantastic because we’re friends. It’s the only thing I care about.”

JD: “I miss Head and I wish that he would come back. I recently met him and we hung out like friends. Nothing would make me happier if head decided to come back. The door is open. Head actually just asked me “ Why haven’t you replaced me? It’s getting ridiculous,” and I said, “Hello, we’re saving it for you.”

Munky: “No, we haven’t discussed it at all. That Jonathan has been in contact with Brian and that they have become friends, that’s how much I know. But now it is so that a band consists of several people and that the dynamic in a group is something very different than a relation between two individuals. In this moment I neither say yes or no. I’m just saying that we must put up the issue to the discussion and really talk about it.

What is it that says he doesn’t leave us again like he did the first time? What I question is his loyalty. I like the parable of a divorce. Either you’re faithful to each other for life or you’re not. What if you leave your wife. She goes on in life and continues being successful and looks better for every single day that passes. How would it look like if you come back and asks: What do you say? It looks so good on your side.

When Brian left, I had to prove both to me and to others that I can take the role as a guitarist, songwriter and an artist, all on my own. It was rough. And then it is so that Korn fans will always be korn fans. They come to our shows because they want to hear our songs. It’s not like if we suddenly will sell out Football arenas just because the ex-guitarist returns. In that respect I can’t see that it would do neither good or bad.”

Head spricht über seine Beziehung zu Korn, eine mögliche Wiedervereinigung und darüber, wie Fieldy laut Head ein regelrechtes Arschloch gewesen ist, bevor er Jesus als seinen Retter fand. Dazu erzählt er Munky’s zwiegespältige Persönlichkeit, wenn er betrunken ist.

Metal Hammer UK machte eine Umfrage, welches Debutalbum im Metalbereich das Beste der letzten 25 Jahre sei. Korn kamen mit Korn auf Platz 2 hinter Slipknot mit Slipknot.

SVH, ein früherer Gitarrist von Head’s Band hat folgendes geschrieben:

“I smell a reunion anyway so buy Paralyzed, Stillwell, FATNS, JDSFA and play them all on your way to the next Family Values show!”

Dann wurde nachgehakt: ‘are you implying Head is gonna go back to Korn?’, SVH antwortete: “I’m predicting something like that.”

Nur um eines klar zu stellen: SVP hat nicht gesagt, dass Head zurück kommt, aber er wird zumindest die Hoffnungen vieler Korn-Fans noch  größer werden lassen.
